Balance Recruitment are exclusively supporting this specialist, boutique law practice, with the hire of an experienced Credit Controller to join the firm on a permanent basis, being the sole point of contact for the firm's collections.
The firm, who are a market leader in the area which they specialise, are going through a sustained period of growth and can offer a stimulating working environment with a real chance to make an impact. The role is based in their charming London office, which has a real family feel to it and very much an 'open door' policy.
The role will certainly give the successful incumbent the opportunity to work autonomously and be an integral part of the firm's revenue cycle, having the scope to implement new policies and procedures with regards to the collection of outstanding debt. You will work closely with the Accounts/Practice Manager and indeed with Partners/Associates, reporting on aged debt and talking through the best practise for the collection process. You will be client facing, maintaining a continuous open dialogue with clients of the firm and will also have responsibility for monthly cash collection forecasts for the London office.
The firm are looking for someone with a strong background in Credit Control, ideally from within a law firm environment. They are seeking a strong communicator, with a proactive attitude who is able to work autonomously in terms of managing their own workloads.
