With this role you’d be joining the small London finance team of a large US Law Firm, providing you with the best of both worlds – the greater variety and increased responsibility you tend to find in smaller firms, but with the higher value work, modern systems and personal reward found in larger firms.
If you’ve started your career within legal billing and enjoy the work, but would like to broaden your knowledge and experience to include other areas of finance, you’re probably finding there aren’t many such opportunities around – could this be one for you?
You’ll need to be confident in taking ownership of your responsibilities and liasing directly with partners and fee earners. You’d be working within a small team of 3, reporting to the European Finance Manager, an engaging and supportive leader who is hoping to identify someone hungry to develop their career further.
Alongside billing responsibilities for the London and European offices, you’ll also be involved in credit control, expenses, financial & payroll reporting and other ad hoc duties, with training provided where required.
The firm place a high emphasis on the benefits of collaboration, and operate a hybrid working model with 4 days in the office and 1 remote.
