I’d love to discuss this role with you if you’re an experienced Finance Manager or Financial Operations Manager within the legal sector, with proven ability in leading a team of Legal Cashiers and ideally a billing function also.
You’d be joining a high profile City of London law firm, leading a team of approx. 15 (inc. 3 direct line reports) and holding responsibility for the firms Legal Cashiering and Billing functions.
The cashiers and billing teams enjoy a great reputation within the firm, although the platform is in place for someone to really make this role their own as you develop the teams further. We’ll be searching for an individual committed to continuous improvement, who can bring innovation and fresh ideas, with the drive and ability to implement them effectively.
The successful applicant will display proven leadership qualities, with a detailed understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules and a heavy focus on ensuring compliance, with responsibility for the annual SRA audit.
Billing experience is desirable although may not be an essential, providing you have a sound conceptual understanding of legal billing processes and the desire to develop your knowledge within this area. This could therefore be a rare chance for a Head Cashier/Cashiers Manager to broaden your career profile.
The firm have experienced significant growth in recent years and have a number of subsidiary businesses which contribute towards a dynamic working environment with plenty of challenge and opportunity. You’ll have a high level of exposure with senior management across the firm, including regular interaction with Partners and Fee Earners.
They have a hybrid work pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 remote (if desired). The rewards package is comprehensive, including an annual discretionary bonus.
