Attention Ambitious ACCA or CIMA Students – Fast Track to your Future.

Becoming a qualified accountant takes a lot of dedication and discipline. When you're not working, your head is in books, and for a few years, you don't get as much time to do things unrelated to your career as much as you'd like.

If this is the case for you, it's all the more important to ensure you're working in an environment that will provide you with the right experience and progression to help make this stage of your career worthwhile professionally and academically.

That's certainly the case with this opportunity. You'd be joining one of the UK's leading law firms, based under five mins walk from Liverpool Street Station. This sizeable private practice inhabits beautiful offices in one of the most picturesque locations in the City, and it's an exciting time to join.

Their finance team is approximately 30 in size and split into the usual functions as you would expect. However, they have ambitious growth plans over the next five years, and their highly structured division means that if you are looking to fast-track your professional progress into management as a qualified accountant, this could offer you an excellent next step.

You'll be working alongside a team of qualified Accountants helping to prepare monthly accounts, post prepayments, accruals and journals, maintain the fixed asset register, assist with budgeting and forecasting, intercompany reconciliations, prepare PAYE Settlement Agreement Schedules and report on ad-hoc management information requests.

To be considered for this role, you'll need to have begun studying towards ACCA/CIMA qualification and intend to continue your studies. They're seeking a proactive individual who'll become a key contributor within the team. You don't need prior legal sector experience, although you will ideally have worked within a professional services or mid-large commercial head office environment.

The firm operates a hybrid working arrangement (3 in, 2 remote) and will offer full study support and a comprehensive range of benefits.

Is this a role that could progress your career in the direction you're aiming towards? You can either apply now if you have a CV ready to share, or get in touch with Neil Gibbs at Balance Recruitment for an informal chat, to find out more. If you require any adjustments or additional support during the recruitment process for any reason whatsoever, please let us know.
