Work, study, work, study, work, study.
Becoming a qualified accountant takes a lot of dedication and discipline. When you’re not working, your head is in books and for a few years, you don’t get as much time to do the things, unrelated to your career, that you really enjoy.
All the more important then to make sure you’re working in an environment that will provide you with the right experience in which to really enjoy this stage of your career, with practical experience progressing in line with your studies to expedite the learning process.
For this opportunity, you’d be joining one of the UK’s leading law firms. Their finance team has been going through a sustained period of growth and innovation, with heavy investment in technology and a drive towards continuous improvement, and you can be a part of that.
You’d be joining their MI & Reporting team of five, within a wider finance team of 30. You’ll work very closely with an experienced team assisting a qualified Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, Financial Analyst and the Financial Controller. A great environment in which to learn and be mentored by those around you.
To be considered for this role, you’ll need to have begun studying towards ACCA/CIMA qualification, or be close to completing AAT and intending to continue with your studies. They’re seeking a proactive individual who’ll become a key contributor within the team. You don’t need to have prior legal sector experience, although will ideally have worked within a professional services or mid-large commercial head office environment.
The firm operate a hybrid working arrangement (3 in, 2 remote) and will offer full study support and a comprehensive range of benefits.
