If you’ve recently passed your ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification but are struggling to find a NQ Accountant position in a sector that interests you, then legal would be an excellent place to start. With attractive mid to senior level salaries, a constant flow of well-paid opportunities across the sector and incredible resilience to economic downturn, many people begin their careers within the legal sector and never leave; such are the benefits of a career in private practice law.

The client in question is a market-leading, multi-award-winning law firm with an international network of offices. They have a large finance team divided across several locations; thus, the above role is available in London, Belfast or Cardiff. As a NQ Accountant, you will be provided with a mixture of responsibilities ranging from properties, expenditure, bank funding, Partner capital, and financial modelling, along with heavy project-based work helping to guide financial decision making relating to national and global expansion or senior lawyer acquisition.

The central finance team collectively deals with the provision of management information, all aspects of financial reporting, bank and funding relationships, compliance with HMRC regulations, and all aspects of Partner-related transactions. With such a broad scope of duties, your future will look promising and encourage significant development with a constantly expanding law firm or other exciting opportunities for financial progression elsewhere within the sector.

To be considered for the position, you must be a fully qualified accountant with ACCA, ACA or CIMA, have a proven track record of forward planning and devising new processes or models, have a good understanding of practice management/accounting systems and excellent attention to detail. For more information, please either send your CV for immediate consideration or contact one of our friendly consultants.
