You could be forgiven for instinctively scrolling past an advert for a finance systems vacancy the moment you see it's for a law firm if you haven't worked for one previously.
It's one of those industries that can seem impossible to break in to. They always seem to demand previous law firm experience.
But…. that does create a supply and demand issue within the industry. And when you become the 'supply' that means you're the one in demand. Which means, from a career security and earning perspective, if you can break in to it, you're in a very good position.
We're currently supporting one of the leading international law firms in London with the appointment of a Financial Systems Analyst to join their talented finance systems team, and they don't care if you have law firm experience or not. They're looking for the right attitude. Someone hungry to learn, someone flexible and adaptable with confident communication skills. A team-player with a focus on customer service who enjoys taking ownership of challenges and projects.
The successful applicant will need to have proven experience working within a finance systems role. Ideally with SQL experience and involvement in both BAU/support, alongside involvement with projects large and small. You don't need to be the finished article, but if you take pride in doing a good job and are hungry to prove yourself within an international professional services firm, we would love to hear from you.
The firm are operating a 50/50 hybrid working arrangement, and offer a comprehensive range of benefits and a great working culture. The offices are stunning, with great views across London, and you'll be joining a brilliant team where the juicy work doesn't just go to whoever's been there the longest.
