An attractive opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager/Financial Controller to join the London office of a well-established US Law Firm on a 12 month maternity cover contract.
The role is well suited to an individual who enjoys a varied workload, with hands-on responsibility for tasks such as financial statements preparation, annual budgeting, cashflow management, ensuring compliance, whilst also managing a small team responsible for day to day financial operations (billing, collections accounts payable, payroll, cashiering).
The firm are eager to continue developing and improving processes and systems, and are keen to identify an individual who can bring project management skills and a proactive, positive approach to the role.
The finance team has been very stable with headcount growth over the years typically joining at entry level, with a mix of experienced teams members and those at earlier stages in their career development. We're seeking an experienced manager who can continue to nurture a motivated team, and provide development and coaching.
