Balance Recruitment are working on behalf of a market-leading, specialist UK law firm, assisting in their search for an experienced Billing and Revenue Controller to join the firm on a maternity cover contract. This is a rare opening within their accounts team, in which the successful candidate will play a key part in the Billing and WIP Management process for the firm.
The ideal candidate will have the confidence to advise senior Partners across the business with regards to their Billing requirements, and have strong technical billing knowledge in terms of SRA regulations and VAT treatment. This would be a great move for someone who would like more autonomy in their next career move.
You will be based within a small and friendly team, and will be required to liaise with Partners and Fee-Earners throughout the month to discuss their billable time, catering for their Billing needs and trying to maximise profitability for the business. You will also be 'hands on' with the Billing process and indeed cash collections where required, so a strong all-round knowledge of the revenue cycle is important.
