An experienced Finance Manager from within the legal sector who is flexible to adapt and react in a rapidly expanding firm. Able to identify where improvements can be made and able to act on them - positively influencing the change necessary to encourage ongoing development of a finance function. You should enjoy challenge and working in a fast paced environment, able to prioritise workload effectively.
You'll be joining the London office of this high profile US Law Firm at an exciting period of growth, supporting the EMEA Finance Director in a wide range of responsibilities and projects, working closely with Partners, and managing the London finance team on a day-to-day basis.
The team includes experienced line managers reporting in to this position, and the role therefore requires an individual with the appropriate knowledge and experience to be able to support and develop them whilst keeping abreast of the overall performance and compliance of the finance function.
The role could be suited to a qualified accountant, although this isn't essential. Alongside management of operational finance functions, you will also be supporting the FD with accounting tasks, such as budgeting, VAT, cashflow, reporting and meeting with statutory compliance. You should have demonstrable experience of developing the performance and processes of a legal accounts function, and the gravitas to build influential relationships with high performing Partners.
