This is a role which requires an individual with a real talent for financial analysis and a proven ability to develop insightful reporting and MI within a professional business environment.
You could be qualified or QBE - the main focus here is your commercial acumen, analysis skills and technical capabilities.
Experience of proactively developing reporting capabilities and making best use of systems and MI dashboards will be particularly useful. Ideally taking a lead in doing so, but this could be a step up opportunity for someone with some core skills they'd like to develop further.
The role holder produces regular reporting for senior stakeholders, providing them with analysis on divisional performance and benchmarking analysis. You'll have a high level of visibility within the firm liaising with key stakeholders across the business to answer queries and to highlight any issues for review. You'll also help in the development of reporting and roll out of new systems and applications working closely with colleagues across finance and technical teams.
The firm is a high profile international law firm, with a respected reputation in the industry worldwide. Previous legal sector experience is not a necessity, although it is likely that shortlisted applicants will have had experience within a professional services firm environment. Knowledge of Cognos TM1, SQL and data modeling skills will also be highly desirable.
