We are eager to hear from ambitious, driven individuals who are keen to develop their commercial finance experience within a varied Financial Analyst position.
To be considered, you will need to have some prior experience working within a similar role in a professional services firm (law firm or other time-billing environment), with a solid understanding of the financial performance measures and levers of profitability within this business structure. This would suit a CIMA/ACCA studier, but this is not an essential requirement.
The firm have a global presence, with London a highly successful, established yet growing regional office. You'll therefore get the benefits of working for a large, high quality firm, whilst also enjoying the variety in responsibilities and increased exposure to senior stakeholders that comes from working within a smaller office (approx. 200 staff in London).
The successful applicant will report to, and work closely with, the Director of Finance, and produce financial and operational reports and analysis for the senior management, practice groups and business services functions for the London and Asia offices. You'll be involved in routine and adhoc reporting and analysis, supporting the pricing process and reviewing profitability and performance metrics.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have strong technical systems skills, with the ability to quickly pick up new applications and tools. You'll be confident in presenting information to colleagues, both finance and non-finance, and will be able to build trust and rapport with senior stakeholders and fee earners. We're also looking for someone with a proactive and flexible approach.
