We're supporting one of our long-standing clients in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant, reporting to the UK Financial Controller.
Having worked very closely with this law firm for a number of years, we know they are undergoing an exciting period of change and development and now is a very good time to get your foot in the door and develop your existing skills.
This firm is looking for a proactive individual who is in the early stages or part way through studying ACCA/CIMA or AAT exams with previous experience of working within a finance department. You will need to be a strong communicator as there is a big emphasis on interacting with the other members of management accounts team to ensure a consistent approach is adopted day to day.
Main duties include cost centre and transaction reporting, preparation of the annual budgets, monthly balance sheet reconciliations and any other budgeting, reporting and analysis for the office.
To be considered for this role you need a high level of professionalism, self-motivation and commitment, good working knowledge of MS office (in particular Excel) and the desire to complete the professional accountancy exams.
