We are supporting one of our long-standing clients, an award-winning global law firm with rapid expansion plans, in their search for an Assistant Financial Accountant.
Are you a strong organiser with advanced analytical skills in MS Excel and able to forge relationships with senior stakeholders? If so, this could be a great development opportunity for you.
This role will give you an opportunity to gain accounting exposure whilst studying and sits within the firms small, friendly Partnership and Financial Accounting team. You will be involved in all aspects of Partnership Accounts and will work closely with the Partnership and Financial Accountant to ensure deadlines are met and to work on the future vision for the department.
You will have heavy involvement in completion of month end partner-related processes and reviews including reviewing and reconciliation of partners' current accounts, tax reserves and capital accounts. You will control the payment of partners' monthly drawings and coordinate the distribution cycle for all partners globally. Liaising with firm's tax advisors with the preparation of the partnership tax computations. *Full job description available on request*
The ideal applicant will have advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, vlookup and sumif formulas, have the ability to analyse large volumes of data and be able to forge strong working relationships with colleagues in the finance team and partners across the firm. AAT qualification or ongoing study towards ACCA/CIMA would be beneficial (but not essential).
