What do you really want to do next in your career? More of the same in a new environment?
Or are you looking for a real change? An opportunity in which you can learn new responsibilities and broaden your accounting knowledge? Variety. Challenge. Development. Maybe even study support?
If the latter, you’re in luck. However, you will need to have previous experience working within the accounts team of a law firm. Sorry if that excludes you, but prior knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules is necessary for this opportunity.
Still reading? Great! So where’s the downside here? Honestly, I’ve yet to find it.
You’ll need to enjoy a busy role, as there’s always plenty to be getting on with, and you’ll need to be able to pick up new processes and expertise, but you’ll have great support from an experienced Financial Controller and you’ll have a good level of flexibility in your hybrid working arrangement.
The ideal applicant will have experience across a few different areas; e.g. legal cashiering, accounts payable, billing, VAT etc., and you’ll need to be confident and comfortable acting as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders. Beyond that, we’re looking for ambition, drive and commitment to personal growth.
Interested, but wondering if you’d have the right experience or not? Just get in touch and we can have an informal chat to discuss. You can either contact Richard Hooper at Balance Recruitment, or just apply now if you have your CV ready for review. Don’t worry if you haven’t got your CV together just yet, we can help with that.
