What do you want to be doing in your career in three years’ time?
A classic interview question, but how often can the employer asking that question confidently give you an answer if you were to join them? Very rarely in our experience, however in this case a succession plan is already in place.
You’d be joining the firm, a hugely successful US Law Firm, in the role of Billing Supervisor for Europe and the Middle East, with responsibility for a large team (10+) spread across the region. And over the next two years, as you develop your knowledge, relationships and credibility within the firm, you’ll be developing with a view to succeeding the Senior Billing Manager in around two years’ time.
The team are responsible for all aspects of billing and working capital control, and your role will be to ensure the smooth running of the function, developing processes, systems and compliance, whilst building close working relationships with Partner groups and clients, providing internal and external reporting, analysis and projections.
The role requires an individual with a solid background within Legal Billing/Revenue Control with some existing supervisory/managerial experience. This could be a step up or a sideways move, but the successful candidate will need to show the ambition and drive to continue progressing and developing in to a leadership role.
The firm have a friendly and open working culture with a focus on performance and results rather than progression only for those with the sharpest elbows. They’re operating a hybrid working policy of 3 days in the office, 2 days remote. This role could be based in London or Brussels, with a relocation package available should you be London based and interested in living and working overseas.
If you’d like to find out more about the role and to see if your experience could be considered, please either contact Richard Hooper at Balance Recruitment for more information, or apply today if you have your CV already prepared.
