Considering a new challenge, but wary about walking into a mess, with sketchy handovers and only limited time to get to grips with everything?

This role, for a senior level Group Accountant, will offer a smooth transition for the successful applicant. You’ll be set you up for success with a lengthy handover as the current incumbent will remain with the firm on a reduce hours basis during your first year, providing you with the space to take ownership and to develop the role, whilst being on hand to guide through the nuances of the systems, processes and firm where needed.

A key technical accounting role within a finance team of 60+ worldwide, you’ll be supported by a Financial Accountant (qualified) and foster close working relationships with the Group Financial Controller, Partner Accounting and Tax teams, along with colleagues across finance internationally.

With over 30 entities within the group (incl. LLP’s and service companies), you’ll be responsible for planning the year end timetable for all offices, producing group consolidations, LLP and subsidiary financial statements and providing technical accounting support to Finance Managers.

The successful applicant will be joining a progressive team and be involved in a variety of projects and initiatives, working with colleagues from across finance. You’ll need to have a proven background within a technical accounting role, whether joining straight from accountancy practice or industry. Prior knowledge of professional services audits/LLP accounts preparation will be highly desirable.
