Excellent Career Prospects

We currently have an opportunity for a legal cashier or legal accounts assistant to train as a billing specialist within one of the most successful law firms in the world. If you are working within a small London or regional law firm but finding it hard to break into the larger international practices, then this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for. Our client is a leading global US law firm with just under 200 staff based at Bank Tube Station. With impressive offices and a culture driven by support and learning, you'll be hard pushed to find a better opportunity, only requiring 12 months of experience on the market currently.

You'll be assisting the billing and collections team and covering the legal cashier function whilst training to manage inventory, raise bills, monitor time records and chase unpaid invoices, amongst other things. The role requires excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with Partners, clients and management teams across the firm.

Training on billing and collections will be provided, so all you need is some experience dealing with client and office accounts. In return, you'll be helping to maximize cash collections, preparing bills, handling e-bills, processing time transfers and write-offs, distributing WIP updates, handling accounts receivable and helping with audit queries. Previous legal finance experience is essential, as is a knowledge of SAR and a positive attitude to learning. For more information, please send your CV for immediate consideration.

Balance Recruitment is an award winning Recruitment Agency and is advertising this opportunity on behalf of a client. We are an equal opportunities employer, committed to promoting diversity.
