We're currently supporting a highly successful US Law Firm, as they look to appoint a Payroll Specialist to be responsible for the payroll and payroll accounting for their London and European offices. You'll be based within the HR Operations team, with close liaison with accounting teams and colleagues in the US. With a low staff turnover and a competitive rewards package, this is a great opportunity to join a friendly and welcoming firm in a position offering great variety and challenge.
You'll be the primary processor for the European offices, with duties including payroll audit, accounting reconciliations, provision of reporting and analysis, supporting the month end close process, assistance with tax and benefits audit, developing procedures and involvement with projects.
Shortlisted applicants will have a solid background within payroll, including for overseas/European offices, with a good understanding of payroll accounting, reporting and tax administration, gained within a professional environment. Strong communication skills, close attention to detail and the ability to problem solve will all be crucial to success within the role.
