Looking for a role that you can really make your own?
Seeing only opportunities with progression prospects heavily dependent on more senior, existing team members leaving to create space?
We're currently supporting an international law firm, as they seek to appoint a Tax Manager within their London finance team. It's a new role and headcount increase within their finance department (c50 staff), reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, with high levels of exposure right across the partnership.
For the right individual, progression opportunity will come through team growth and through expansion of responsibilities across a broader remit within the finance department. Ambition will be seen as a positive trait here.
They're aiming to welcome an ambitious, driven individual who can bring ideas, develop processes and thrive in a role that will offer great variety and responsibility. Depending on the experience level of the successful applicant there could also be management responsibility from the start.
The Tax Manager will cover all aspects of the firm's tax compliance for UK and overseas entities, including corporate tax, partnership tax computations and VAT compliance. The role holder will also work closely with the Partnership Accountant on matters such as partner tax reserving.
The firm are eager to identify a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a CTA qualification (or currently studying towards). This could be suited to an individual making a first move out of practice, or for someone currently within a similar in-house role within another professional services/partnership environment.
