Are you a Practice Manager or Finance Manager with at least five years of senior finance and practice administration experience within a law firm and looking for a new challenge with plenty of room for progression? Do you have an excellent understanding of law firm financial management and SRA compliance? Would you like to work for a hugely successful and rapidly expanding legal practice with a reputation for excellence in the Sussex, Berkshire, Surrey and Kent regions, with ambitious plans for the future?

If so, our client would like to hear from you! With a network of offices across southern England and approximately 90 staff, this law firm has seen exponential growth over the last ten years. As such, they now require the assistance of a full-time, permanent Practice Manager with the experience to handle a mixture of accounting, human resources, and practice administration duties needed to help the firm continue to grow and realise the management team's ambitions.

You will be reporting to the CFO when working to ensure the maximum profitability of the firm. Cash flow, expenditure, performance, forecasts/projections, compliance and month and year-end procedures will all be part of your finance and accounts focus, including management of a team of five. HR-related tasks will include payroll, appraisals, inductions, monitoring performance and training & development. You'll also be involved in a wide variety of other duties, providing great exposure to the operations of the firm.

The successful applicant will be excited by the prospect of working within an ambitious enterprise with plans for future growth, both personally and commercially. Previous management experience is essential, with applicants expected to have experience reporting to senior members of a partnership whilst acting as a conduit of communication when channelling information from above to the broader practice team with the ability to influence, innovate, and implement change where necessary. Whilst they are headquartered in Sussex, they are flexible about your location, but the ability of an applicant to be onsite, although occasionally, is desirable.
