This is a strong opportunity for someone with existing pricing experience who enjoys working with data, supporting senior stakeholders, and helping Partners make informed commercial decisions on client and matter pricing.
The role will support the preparation of global client and matter fee proposals, using historical financial analysis and pricing data to help shape budgets, rate proposals and alternative fee arrangements.
You will be involved in modelling pricing scenarios, analysing profitability trends, and helping the firm identify what is working well across its pricing activity. There is also a governance and reporting element.
You will help maintain pricing approval data, track win and loss metrics, monitor performance against budgets, and support reporting for senior management and pricing committees.
The work will require accuracy, commercial judgement and the ability to turn data into clear, practical insight.
You will work closely with Partners, pricing colleagues and wider business services teams, including on RFP responses and matter budgets.
This is a role for someone who is comfortable in a fast paced, high standards environment and who enjoys being close to the commercial detail of major client relationships.
What they’re looking for:
- Previous pricing experience, ideally gained within a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with advanced data modelling ability
- Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with complex data
- Ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, including Partners
- Strong organisation, accuracy and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast moving environment
- Experience using Elite 3E would be helpful.
