Pricing Manager – London

A leading City law firm is looking to hire a Pricing Manager to join its London based Pricing and Analytics function. This is a role for someone who enjoys working at the point where commercial thinking meets practical delivery, acting as a trusted adviser to Partners and supporting teams across Finance and Business Development.

You will lead pricing activity on live opportunities and complex matters, helping Partners make clear, commercially grounded decisions. That includes advising on pitches, rate modelling, alternative fee arrangements, value add proposals and negotiation strategy. You will play a central role in the firm’s rate review process, bringing structure to how rates are monitored and updated, and ensuring decisions stay aligned with market levels.

The role has a strong governance and best practice element. You will support fee committees by developing and improving pricing policies, monitoring compliance, assessing commercial impact and producing analysis for senior stakeholders. You will help build a consistent pricing approach across the firm by improving templates, tools and guidance, championing quality and rigour in how pricing support is delivered.

There is a people and influence side too. You will design and deliver pricing training to Partners and senior audiences, and you will stay close to external market developments so advice remains current and relevant. It is a high standards environment, and you may occasionally need to work beyond standard hours when deadlines are tight.

What they’re looking for This role suits someone with law firm pricing experience who can influence senior stakeholders with confidence and tact. You will be commercially minded, comfortable modelling financial scenarios, and able to turn data into clear recommendations for non financial audiences. Strong Excel skills are essential, along with excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines. Experience delivering training and leading projects will be a real advantage.

If you enjoy being the person Partners rely on for commercially sound pricing advice, and you like roles where you can shape both strategy and day to day execution, this is a strong opportunity.

We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds, experiences and characteristics.

If you require any adjustments or additional support at any stage of the recruitment process, please let us know.
