This is a practical payroll processing role for someone who enjoys accuracy, deadlines and working closely with HR, Finance and external payroll providers.
You will support the monthly payroll cycle, helping to ensure payroll is processed accurately, compliantly and on time.
The role will include monthly payroll inputs, new starters, leavers, payroll variables, P45 processing, payroll outputs and reporting, as well as responding to employee and payroll provider queries in a clear and professional way.
There is also an international element, with involvement in payroll activity for a small number of employees outside the UK, alongside support for shadow payroll processing with overseas colleagues.
You will also assist with pension data uploads, HMRC RTI checks, P11D and PSA preparation, payroll related audits, provider queries and system support.
What they’re looking for:
The most important requirements are:
- Previous payroll experience within a professional services environment
- Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation and benefits rules
- Experience using payroll systems, ideally ADP, with SDWorx or COUPA helpful
- Strong Excel skills, accurate data input and excellent attention to detail
- Confidence working independently, prioritising under pressure and managing payroll queries professionally
