This is a strong opportunity for someone with established law firm pricing experience who enjoys leading complex pricing work, advising Partners and using data to support commercial decision making.
The role will focus on complex global client and matter fee proposals, including historical financial analysis, pricing scenario modelling and alternative fee arrangements.
You will work directly with Partners and key stakeholders to build budgets, support live matters and help shape pricing outcomes that are commercially sound and aligned with client expectations. There is also a strong governance and reporting element.
You will maintain pricing approval data, track win and loss metrics, create pricing and profitability reports, and monitor performance against budgets across hourly deals and alternative fee arrangements.
The role will also involve bespoke analysis to identify trends, improve profitability and support strategic pricing initiatives across the firm.
This is a more senior role within the team, so you will be expected to lead pricing discussions independently with Partners, support RFP responses, coach junior colleagues and help maintain high standards and best practice across the pricing function.
What they’re looking for:
- Minimum two to three years’ law firm pricing experience
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with advanced data modelling ability
- Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with complex financial data
- Confidence advising Partners and senior stakeholders clearly and credibly
- Strong organisation, accuracy and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Working knowledge of Elite 3E would be helpful.
