Financial Reporting Manager

Our client, a FTSE 250 global media business agency, is looking for a CIMA/ACCA/ACA (or equivalent qualified Financial Reporting Manager to cover a 9 month maternity period. This global entity continues to expand through acquisition, organic growth and with particular emphasis on digital development and are looking for a commercially focussed candidate to match their business ethos.

The successful candidate will provide support to the Regional Finance Director and CFO, working closely with the commercial finance teams to obtain, analyse and consolidate financial information.
Other duties of the role are:-

• Preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts packs including analysis and commentary. This includes reporting results into Head Office
• Preparation and consolidation of quarterly forecasts and annual budget packs including analysis and commentary.
• Consolidation of weekly sales reporting, including reporting development and process innovation.
• Responsibility for integration of reporting of new entities both acquired and internally transferred within the Group.
• Provide accurate and robust benchmarking KPI’s across the division. To include research to obtain external KPI’s.
• Responsibility for sales analysis, FSA compliance monitoring and responsibility guidelines and training material.
• Pro-active role reviewing and implementing process improvements in financial reporting

The suitable candidate must have advanced Excel knowledge and experience of using Hyperion Essbase. Experience of using JD Edwards and Business objects would also be an advantage.
